Redwoods @ Jedediah Smith State Park, California

Julius found this redwood that we could get in. Here is Chris, Lucy, Peyta and a flash of Sunny standing in front of the behemoth tree.

Sunny, Julius and Imani kickin' it in a rotted out redwood. Someone said this is the quintessential Suuny picture. Her face says it all.
The trees are huge and the river clear. Thank you Jessica G. and Matt for telling us to visit Jed Smith. Don't go looking for a shower though. $20 bucks a night campsites and $8 bundles of fire wood are all you'll find here. Thank God it was pretty or I might have been pissed.

Otter Point, Oregon (a.k.a. Paradise Found)

Good bye...
Family Day @ Otter Point

my favorite momma :)

As always, here I am nursing someone! From the looks of this head I'd have to say this is Maggie. This might have to go down as my favorite place to breatfeed a baby.

She usually looks so big to us thes days... Amazing how a little sky, land and water can change your perspective.

For some reason Chris wouldn't let me take this piece of drift wood home. I think it might have fit in the plane's overhead compartment. Man, it would have looked good in our living room.

Someone else must have had the same thought as us... "I think I might just build a house out of all this drift wood and stay a while."

" Little man, big rock" is what Mike Jo calls this one.

Some big rocks @ OtterPoint.

I think we found paradise on the west coast (also known to the locals as Otter Point). We had to hike down the side of a cliff to get to the beach, which let me telly you, a bit nerve racking with babies strapped to us, but it was so worth it!

More of Oregon and Mountain Home Homestead

The kids.

Here's everyone... Chip and Clara, Ish, Dermot, Imani, Nia, Carly and Salomon and Scott, Mervyn and little Amya, Julius, Peyta, Nansea and Sweet Sabina and her little half-naked man, Ingvern (I'm sure I've butchered his name). Julie and Phil were off working somewhere no doubt. This was taken right as we were leaving Oregon! I miss ALL OF THEM!!!

I think this is Maggie. Whoever she is, she sure is beautiful!
